Call Center also adds a couple of key features that set it apart from your average Skype-compatible VoIP phone. First, it allows you to dial in from another location and use Skype to make a call. For $70, I honestly can’t fault this product in anything. It supports both home phones and mobile phones, and only requires a high speed online connection. If before you had a reason to skip out on the program, with the release of the Call Center, you simply owe it to yourself to try out the freedom that is Skype.

The affordable device is pretty tiny, so mobility is a nice plus, and it claims a pick-up range up to 12 feet.

My favorite Skype toy is Actiontec Electronics' VoSky Call Center. This device performs the amazing feat of connecting your cell-phone or landline call to Skype on a remote computer.

Skype, the program for making online phone calls, has traditionally required a computer and an Internet connection. The VoSKY Call Center changes that equation, adding some interesting new options to the mix.

Its job is to automatically forward your Skype calls to your cell phone (or any other phone) and vice-versa.

VoSky, from Actiontec Electronics, is especially intriguing because of its ability to transform regular phones into Skypers.

When out and about, you can call your home phone and route your call onto the Internet through the Call Center, meaning you can make Skype calls from anywhere. It appears to be getting easier every day to reach out and touch someone through the Internet.

People who use Skype, the software that allows you to make phone calls over the Internet, may be able to call their Skype contacts from any mobile or stationary phone using a new device from Sunnyvale's Actiontec Electronics.
